The September issue of West Loveland Neighbors magazine has been published and delivered! Our photoshoots for the magazine covers are done two months in advance of each issue. It can be a challenge to photograph almost a full season ahead of the magazine because the landscape can change dramatically. When we shot this photo in June, it was more than 90 degrees outside and summer had just begun. Here we are in September, and this has been one of the hottest weeks of the year with schools closing early to give the kids and staff relief from the heat. Luckily, the cover aligned with our current weather!
Our September family was so much fun to photograph. We warmed up by photographing their three dogs while I dialed in my camera settings. The dogs enjoyed it so much, the mini labradoodle sat itself next to the family as we prepared for our cover photo. There are things I would change about the pose, but the family looks great and the dog has the best smile on its face. Check out that amazing view of the foothills from their back yard!
